A cooker circuit is the separate, heavier circuit your induction hob, range or oven runs on. We run it from the fuse box and connect the appliance to the manufacturer's diagram.
Cooking appliances briefly draw a lot of power. Share that circuit with the fridge and the lighting and the breaker trips at the worst possible moment. A dedicated circuit with the right cable size prevents it.
That depends on the appliance: a narrow hob asks less than a wide range with an oven. We look at the rating plate and choose cable and breaker accordingly, not by feel.
If the gas cooker goes out, an oven, an extractor and sometimes a heat pump usually follow. We calculate the whole kitchen, so you do not have to open the board again in a year.
After installation we connect the appliance to the diagram, check the links on the terminal block and test the circuit. Then we try every zone or burner.
