A charge point on your company premises in Alkmaar is more than a socket on the wall. Who charges, how much goes through per user, and whether the fleet is full in the morning: that comes down to the right unit and the right distribution. We are about 25 minutes away from our base in Haarlem. The grid operator here is Liander; if your supply turns out to be too light, we handle that application.
On your own premises you decide who charges and at what rate. On a public road it runs through the municipality and a concession holder, and you have little say. For businesses, your own land is almost always the better route.
Business charging calls for a clean set of records: which vehicle, which employee, how many kWh and at what rate. With a certified meter and a management platform that comes out monthly in a form your accountant can use.
If your unit stands idle most of the day and can be reached from the street, you can make it available to other drivers and receive a fee per kWh delivered. That does need a certified meter and OCPP support.
If you have solar panels, we set the unit to give priority to what you are generating at that moment. Your surplus then goes into the car instead of onto the grid at a low rate.
A unit with a fixed cable means arrive and plug in, but the length is fixed and that decides where the unit can go. A socket gives freedom and you can take the cable to a public charger. Which suits you depends on where you park.
Send a photo of your meter cupboard and of where the car is parked, and you will have a fixed price for unit and installation together within 24 hours.
Question not answered here? Call or message us and we will think it through with you, free of charge.
Yes, with a card or through the operator’s app. You decide whether that is free, at cost, or with a margin. We set that up with you at handover.
On a growing number of business parks the supply cannot simply be upgraded. We then share the available power across the charge points, or look at whether battery storage can absorb the peak.
That is Liander. If your supply turns out to be too light, we prepare the meter cupboard and file the application on your behalf, so you do not have to chase it.
Reckon on the price of the unit plus €335 installation. The cheapest model we supply is €609 including VAT, so from roughly €944 you have a working installation. What it comes to in your case is in the quote beforehand.
Tell us which car you drive and where it is parked, and we will recommend a model that suits your supply. Available on working days from 08:30 to 17:00, and outside those hours for emergencies.
