At the start and at handover yes, because that is when we walk through the meter cupboard and the settings together. In between, no, as long as we can reach the board.
There is a guarantee on our work and the manufacturer’s warranty on the unit. You receive an invoice with a description, so it can be traced later exactly what was installed and set up.
The unit stops charging, like the rest of the house. Once power is back it picks up where it left off; you do not have to set anything again.
Reckon on the price of the unit plus €335 installation. The cheapest model we supply is €495 including VAT, so from roughly €830 you have a working installation. What it comes to in your case is in the quote beforehand.
