Already have the charger at home, or received one through the lease company? We connect it, set it up and test it under load. The warranty on the unit then runs through your own supplier; on our work you get our guarantee.
The work, the materials and the labour listed separately, plus what happens if it turns out differently than expected. No line called “miscellaneous”, so you can see what you are paying for.
The route from meter cupboard to car decides a large part of the price. Does it run through a crawl space, along a skirting board, or under the garden? We walk that route with you beforehand, so the quote matches what happens on the day.
If you have solar panels, we set the unit to give priority to what you are generating at that moment. Your surplus then goes into the car instead of onto the grid at a low rate.
Charging runs for hours at full power. That does not belong on a shared circuit but on its own, with the right type of residual current device. We run it from the meter cupboard and label it, so it is clear later what sits where.

At the start and at handover yes, because that is when we walk through the meter cupboard and the settings together. In between, no, as long as we can reach the board.
For planned work usually within a few weeks. We name a concrete date in the quote rather than a vague window.
For basic charging, no. For load balancing, remote settings or billing per user, yes. We check whether the signal reaches the unit and use a wired connection where it does not.
Reckon on the price of the unit plus €335 installation. The cheapest model we supply is €609 including VAT, so from roughly €944 you have a working installation. What it comes to in your case is in the quote beforehand.
