EV chargers for apartment blocks in Maastricht

Charging in a shared garage in Maastricht takes more than hanging one unit on the wall. The power comes from the building’s own installation, so the question is who pays for what and what that installation can carry. For Maastricht we schedule the installation by arrangement on a fixed date, so we can finish it in one visit. Limburg is part of the area where we supply and install charge points, which we do across the Netherlands.

EV chargers for apartment blocks in Maastricht: how we work

Settling up per resident

Every charge point gets its own certified meter, so a resident’s consumption does not land on the association’s bill. You choose whether that runs through the service charges or through a platform that bills the resident directly.

Fire safety in an enclosed garage

An enclosed car park brings stricter requirements for cabling and for where the distribution board sits. We take that into account and record what has been installed, so the association can show it at an inspection.

Sharing your charger with others

If your unit stands idle most of the day and can be reached from the street, you can make it available to other drivers and receive a fee per kWh delivered. That does need a certified meter and OCPP support.

Twelve models to choose from

With or without a fixed cable, with or without a certified meter, one phase or three. Our EV charger page lists twelve models with prices so you can compare before you choose. We advise what suits your supply, not what costs most.

Fixed cable or your own

A unit with a fixed cable means arrive and plug in, but the length is fixed and that decides where the unit can go. A socket gives freedom and you can take the cable to a public charger. Which suits you depends on where you park.

We install charge points across the Netherlands. Send a photo of your meter cupboard and of where the car is parked, and you will have a fixed price within 24 hours; the work is scheduled by arrangement.

Frequently asked questions about EV chargers in Maastricht

Question not answered here? Call or message us and we will think it through with you, free of charge.

Can a charge point be added later?

Yes, if the distribution is prepared for it. We lay it out so that extending later is a matter of adding a point, not starting over. That saves the association a considerable amount in the long run.

What happens when a resident moves out?

The charge point stays and passes to the new resident, or is switched off until someone takes it over. Because each point has its own meter, settling up on the day of transfer is straightforward.

Does the charger need an internet connection?

For basic charging, no. For load balancing, remote settings or billing per user, yes. We check whether the signal reaches the unit and use a wired connection where it does not.

Who is the grid operator in Maastricht?

That is Enexis. If your supply turns out to be too light, we prepare the meter cupboard and file the application on your behalf, so you do not have to chase it.
