Charging in a shared garage in Purmerend takes more than hanging one unit on the wall. The power comes from the building’s own installation, so the question is who pays for what and what that installation can carry. We are about 25 minutes away from our base in Haarlem. Already bought a unit, or received one through your lease company? We will connect that too.
Every charge point gets its own certified meter, so a resident’s consumption does not land on the association’s bill. You choose whether that runs through the service charges or through a platform that bills the resident directly.
The shared infrastructure usually comes out of the association’s funds; the charge point itself is paid for by the resident using it. Setting that out beforehand avoids arguments later, and we put it in the quote that way.
If your unit stands idle most of the day and can be reached from the street, you can make it available to other drivers and receive a fee per kWh delivered. That does need a certified meter and OCPP support.
Charging runs for hours at full power. That does not belong on a shared circuit but on its own, with the right type of residual current device. We run it from the meter cupboard and label it, so it is clear later what sits where.
The route from meter cupboard to car decides a large part of the price. Does it run through a crawl space, along a skirting board, or under the garden? We walk that route with you beforehand, so the quote matches what happens on the day.
Send a photo of your meter cupboard and of where the car is parked, and you will have a fixed price for unit and installation together within 24 hours.

The charge point stays and passes to the new resident, or is switched off until someone takes it over. Because each point has its own meter, settling up on the day of transfer is straightforward.
Often not. It can usually run through the association’s existing supply, provided the power is shared sensibly. We measure that before anything is ordered.
Reckon on the price of the unit plus €335 installation. The cheapest model we supply is €609 including VAT, so from roughly €944 you have a working installation. What it comes to in your case is in the quote beforehand.
There is no national subsidy for a home charging point. Some municipalities and employers do have a scheme, and there are tax options for business use. We do not know your situation, so check with your municipality or accountant.
Tell us which car you drive and where it is parked, and we will recommend a model that suits your supply. Available on working days from 08:30 to 17:00, and outside those hours for emergencies.
